Some Things About The Writer’s Strike That Make Me Giggle

First, this is obviously NOT The Daily Show:

Next, a quote from a recent LA Times article regarding the WGA picketing on Wall Street:
“Besides, said alliance spokeswoman Barbara Brogliatti, the anticipated $1 billion a year for video downloading by 2011 still will be dwarfed by projected sales of as much as $20.7 billion worth of ‘old-fashioned’ [...]

Veronica Mars - The Season That Was Not to Be.

JK Parkin at the Newsarama blog has lots of interesting tidbits. Max Headroom as Moloch the Mystic, Darla in the new Punisher movie, images and videos from the set of Incredible Hulk (which apparently has a shitty script)… all sorts of cool stuff, but one thing really set off my fanboy alarms - The [...]

Editors Note: The part about webscabs is a joke. I believe Mr Hendrix has apologized several times for his choice [...]

More on the WGA Strike, or Why Writers Love Steve Carell

Derek Powazek has displayed what I hope is an unintentional misunderstanding and mischaracterization of why the WGA is on strike.
He seems to think that the strike is a result of writers not understanding how the internet works and that they are wanting a cut of money that is not there. His arguments seem to [...]

STRIKE!!

I haven’t really had much to say about the WGA strike going on right now, because I couldn’t really find an angle on how it effects comics, other than the potential to finally get an end to Ultimate Wolverine vs Hulk or to get some on-time issues of Runaways or Astonishing X-men.
But, ya know, fuck [...]

Curses!

I shouldn’t have been browsing blogs during commercial breaks from Heroes, but I did it anyway.
My punishment was reading this spoiler from Tball’s TVGuide regarding the identity of Adam Monroe and the ending to tonight’s episode.
Oh well, I’m still enjoying the episode and should have seen this twist coming, anyway.
