Friday Night Fights – You Never Step To A Man Named Leon
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting and don't forget to tip your waitress!!
I thought it was about time I joined in on Bahlactus’ Friday Night Fights, and I couldn’t think of a better way to pay tribute to the godfather of cosmic soul and beatdowns than by taking a page from B. Clay Moore, Ed Tadem, Seth Peck, and Tigh Walker’s ‘76
Meet Leon and remember that he is not to be trifled with.
If you’re not reading 76, you should be, it features two stories on opposite coasts – Moore and Tadem’s kung-fu fighting “Jackie Karma” on the East Coast and Peck and Walker’s smash-mouth brawling “Cool” on the West, featuring our man Leon – taking place in the sweet sweet year of 1976.
Check out newsarama’s interviews with Moore and Tadem here and Peck and Walker here. Once you’re done with those, get down to your local comic shop. They may still have a copy of ‘76, if you’re lucky.
