This is Why I Love The Boys (and Why Some May Hate It)

Ladies and gentlemen, the following full-page panel from The Boys issue 13 may be simultaneously the most glorious and most horrendous thing I have ever seen in a comic, and that is saying a lot.

Parents, you may want to shield your children’s eyes or send them to another room, this image could give them nightmares:

I am in awe and yet repulsed…

Even Wee Hughie doesn’t know what to say, he fears for his life!

It goes without saying that I absolutely love The Boys, for all the reasons that others may be completely repulsed by it. This comic is lewd, crude, absolutely disgusting at times, and very very graphic in its depictions of pretty much everything, especially violence and sexuality.

This is not a comic for children or anyone who is easily offended, but it is definitely a comic for anyone who loved Preacher or the current Punisher MAX series. In short, Garth Ennis fans will love this.
