Who said Doc Sampson was dead? He’s featured pretty prominently as one of the characters who is not the Red Hulk in Hulk #1.
… or did you mean Bruce Banner? There was speculation that he died at the end of World War Hulk. I think he’s just comatose and he’s my top candidate for being the Red Hulk.
Or maybe you mean Rick Jones… people thought he died, some others think he’s the Red Hulk. I’m hoping he’s not.
I just caught a glimpse of the hulk #1 coming in january. The hulk looks cool in his new red, it makes him look evil. There is supposed to be a muder mystery at the very beginning. I checked out afew pages that were on the net. It showed what looked like the hulk beating the crap out of the abomination. That wouldnt happen to be the mysterious murder victim would it ?
The cover of the new Red Hulk book shows an angry, red hulk surrounded by flames,suggesting a devilish character(ie Mephisto). Hmmm didn’t Peter Parker/spiderman just make a deal with the Devil(Mephisto)?Could this be the price Peter must pay for Mephisto’s help? Or maybe The red Hulk is Mephisto? guess we will just have to speculate until the truth is revealed.
